HP Reverb G2 VR Flight Sim support
Microsoft Flight Simulator is currently considered the best flight simulation available. And starting this fall, the simulator will also be available in virtual reality!
Microsoft Flight Simulator
Virtual reality compatibility will be added to the Microsoft Flight Simulator game later this year. The first VR headset that will be fully compatible with the game is the new HP Reverb G2. This VR headset will be the first to receive a (free) update of the Flight Sim game.
The HP Reverb G2 currently offers the highest possible resolution of all virtual reality glasses. With a combined image resolution of 4320 x 2160 pixels (no less than 2.5 times higher than the Oculus Rift S), simulation games in particular look hyper-realistic. Microsoft Flight Simulator will therefore be the first launch title for the new HP Reverb G2, as it can bring out the beauty of the game like few other headsets can.
Reverb G2 is a collaboration between hardware developer HP and gaming platform Valve. Valve released the Valve Index VR headset earlier this year. This headset is a wonderful piece of hardware, but unfortunately due to logistical circumstances, many users had to wait a few months before they could start using the set. In collaboration with HP, distribution will hopefully proceed more smoothly and everyone will be able to use the new headset immediately.
We put a team on it and then entered into a partnership with HP.
