What is Reducept?

The VR application Reducept aids in chronic pain management. By donning a VR headset, you embark on a journey within your own body, targeting pain points with a spaceship. It may sound like something out of a futuristic sci-fi movie, but research indicates that this has a significant effect on how patients perceive pain! It's no wonder Reducept won the coveted World Summit Award for the most innovative health application of 2019.

User-friendly interface

Originally, Reducept was designed to be used with the Oculus Go. However, due to the discontinuation of this VR headset, as of September 2020, the application has also become standard for use with Pico VR. The Pico G2 4K is therefore the recommended headset for running the Reducept application. The user-friendly interface, comfortable fit, and high image quality provide a very pleasant experience, even for users with no prior experience with VR.

How does Reducept work?

Reducept is simple: all you need is the Reducept application and a functional virtual reality headset. With the VR headset, you can download the Reducept application in the Pico Store (for Pico G2 4K), in the Google Play Store (for Android phones), or in the Apple Store (for iOS phones).

The Reducept application is free to download, but in order to use the software, you need to have a Reducept account. The rates for both personal and business use can be found on Reducept's order page.

Which VR headset do you need for Reducept?

Put on a VR headset and immerse yourself in a totally different world with Virtual Reality (VR). Your brain is immediately convinced of your new surroundings. And if your brain believes it's somewhere else, Reducept can truly start working on your pain.

Reducept works best on a standalone VR headset. For the best experience, we recommend the Pico G2 4K. This headset offers a simple user interface, very sharp image quality, and a pleasant overall experience. For a more affordable alternative, we recommend a Smartphone VR headset, such as the Shinecon 6. With a Smartphone VR headset, you slide a mobile phone into the front of the headset and use the smartphone's screen.
