The new tracker from HTC VIVE can be connected to the HTC VIVE Focus 3 VR glasses. The tracker is attached to the wrist and tracks the position of the hands up to the elbow. Unique to the VIVE Wrist Tracker is that it works without the use of external sensors (like the VIVE Tracker 3.0). The software of the VIVE wrist tracker can "predict" the location of the tracker, even when it is temporarily out of sight of the VR glasses' inside-out cameras. This way, you never lose connection with the tracker.
The VIVE Wrist Tracker is designed to complement the existing controllers of the VIVE Focus 3. The trackers can be used for simulation and training experiences where a realistic body in the virtual world is important.
