The Vuzix Blade Upgraded is a smart glass that can be used for remote assist applications. With the built-in autofocus 8 MP camera, the Vuzix Blade can capture video images in 720p at 30fps or of 1080p at 24 fps. The quality of the camera is comparable to the quality of a standard smartphone. This quality is generally sufficient to properly monitor an expert. As a result, expertise can be effectively managed and performed remotely with the Vuzix Blade glasses
The Upgraded version has been improved in terms of safety and reliability. The Upgraded Blade is ANSI Z87.1 certified and can withstand direct shocks on the lenses, making the Vuzix Blade Upgraded better suited for industrial applications
