Prerequisites
For a smooth completion, it is important to prepare the VR space for the installation. There are a few points that the space needs to meet to be compatible with virtual reality:
- Ensure a working internet connection (wired is recommended*);
- Ensure sufficient power outlets on location. Keep in mind that (among other things) the following devices need power: computer, television screen, VR headset, and base stations;
- Bear in mind the mounting of the base stations. We typically bring a few tripod stands to test the base stations, but ultimately the base stations need to be mounted;
- Television screens should be hung/placed by/under your own management;
- Creating Steam accounts should be done under your own management. For more information, refer to the instruction page of Steam. It is recommended to do this prior to the installation so that it does not have to be done during the installation;
- During the installation, someone should be present for any questions or comments.
*Does the location not have a wired internet connection? Please inform us in time! We will then ensure that the computers are compatible with WiFi.
