HTC VIVE Base Station 2.0
The SteamVR Base Station 2.0 is an external sensor that enables the Vive Pro headset and controllers to be tracked in a maximum space of 10m x 10m (use 4 sensors for this). Screw the sensor onto a tripod, clamp, or wall mount using the threaded attachment and hang it at approximately 2 meters high. Tilt the sensor at an angle towards the playing field. For optimal placement of the sensors, place the sensor no more than 6 meters apart from each other.
The base stations for HTC Vive Pro are compatible with: HTC Vive Pro/Eye/Cosmos Elite, Valve Index, and Pimax VR glasses. The package includes one base station.
Caution: never move the base station while it's on. This can result in internal malfunction (red flashing light), after which the base station needs to be repaired and sent to HTC.
