Setting up UVISAN on-site
A UVISAN cabin only needs to be plugged into the power source on-site. It's easy to move as it's on wheels. Place it in a dry, safe spot indoors. Once you've found a suitable location for the cabin, you can lock 2 of the 4 swivel wheels. This way, the cabin stands firm and stable and is ready to be set up
UVISAN Installation
There's a slight difference in the models when installing the cabins. While the VR12 only has double-sided doors on the front, the VR20 and VR30 have these doors on both sides. For the VR12, you need to remove the back panel to access the USB charging ports. For the VR20 and VR30, you only need to open the doors
Once you have access to the back of the cabin, connect the charging cables for individual devices to the USB charging ports from the top section of the cabin. You can then lead the charging cables through the holes in the back panel to the front of the cabin
Before you plug the power cord into a socket, it's important that the power switch is off. You can find it in the Top IT area. Once the power switch is off, you can safely connect the power cord and then switch on the power. However, ensure that you never connect the cabin to an overloaded socket
Setting the UVC disinfection cycle
The cabin comes pre-programmed with a disinfection cycle of 5 minutes (600 seconds), which is specifically designed to deliver more than 99.9% reduction of common bacteria and viruses
Want to adjust the disinfection cycle time? Follow these instructions: Before you can adjust the time settings, you need to start a disinfection cycle. You do this by pressing the start button on the right side of the Top IT area. Once you've pressed the start button, you'll see the top timer countdown. Briefly press the SET button to open the time setting mode. Adjust the timing T1 by pressing the "↑" or "↓" button to add more or less seconds. After setting T1, briefly press the SET button again, the green light flashes, and press the "↑" or "↓" button to set the timing T2. When the time is set to your liking, briefly press the SET button again. The system will automatically save the specified set time
Operation disinfection cycle
Now that the cabin is connected, the installation is complete, and you've set your desired UVC disinfection cycle, the cabin is ready for use. Follow these steps to start a disinfection cycle:
- Open the door and place all items in the cabin. Make sure that all items are evenly distributed. They should not overlap, allowing maximum exposure to UVC light for all objects and surfaces;
- Then connect all electronic devices to the charging cables/ports (if charging is required);
- Close and lock the door properly (if the doors are not completely closed, the security system will prevent the cycle from starting);
- Press the start button;
- The disinfection cycle will now begin. When the disinfection cycle is completed, the UVC lamps automatically turn off;
- When the UVC lamps are off, you can now safely open the doors and remove all items
Cleaning and maintenance of UVISAN
There are a few things to consider when cleaning and maintaining your cabin:
- For daily cleaning, use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive or solvent cleaners.
- Check if the access panel at the back (only for VR12) is properly secured and locked when in use
- Don't use the cabin in dusty/dirty places.
- Don't store the cabin at low temperatures. This can cause condensation. If the device is stored in a cold place, allow the cabin to adjust to the ambient temperature for 24 hours before it can be safely connected to electricity.
- Unplug the device when not in use.
- Always use the standard accessories or licensed accessories. Unauthorized accessories, especially electronic components, can damage the equipment circuits.
