The first 5G VR headset of its kind!
XRSpace Manova is a new virtual reality headset that looks like it's straight out of Ready Player One. The headset is designed with several key features in mind. For instance, XRSpace focuses on standalone capabilities and is developing a complete world to give a huge boost to VR multiplayer.
Snapdragon 845 processor
Unlike many other VR headsets, XRSpace is not specifically aimed at gaming. With the powerful built-in Snapdragon 845 processor, gaming is certainly possible, but the real strength of XRSpace lies in its social multiplayer platform. In this world, you can hang out with friends or family, play a game, or watch a movie. Especially in times of 'social distancing', this naturally sounds like the perfect solution to be together while apart.
A significant feature of the XRSpace Manova is that it is a standalone VR headset. This means you don't need an external computer. With the built-in processor (Snapdragon 845), you have enough graphical power to play games and run heavier VR applications smoothly. Additionally, the headset uses inside-out tracking technology that can even track your hand movements.
The XRSpace is also fully future-proof. The company claims to have created the first standalone 5G headset with the Manova. Once 5G is rolled out, you can use the headset anywhere and anytime you want.

XRSpace Manova specifications
The XRSpace boasts impressive specifications, putting it in direct competition with the newly released Oculus Quest and Quest 2. Both headsets operate standalone (without a computer) and offer inside-out tracking with the option for hand tracking. The built-in Snapdragon 845 is comparable to the processor in the Oculus Quest 2 (and also Pico Neo 2), however, XRSpace claims that the Manova is overall 25% more powerful than the original Oculus Quest.
Although the XRSpace is slightly larger than the Oculus Quest, it weighs just 470 grams. This is 20% lighter than the Oculus Quest. In addition to these improvements, the XRSpace Manova also has a larger battery, a better screen, and a higher refresh rate than the Oculus Quest.
When can we expect the XRSpace Manova?
At this moment, XRSpace is only available for pre-order. The current expected release is currently Q3 of 2020. Hopefully, we can expect the XRSpace Manova to arrive this year!
