Pico Neo 3
The Pico Neo 3 is a ready-to-use VR headset intended for use in business and commercial environments. This standalone 6DOF VR headset with an impressive 4K display is perfect for interactive training, onboarding, and simulations. The benefits of the Pico Neo 3 are numerous. First off, the headset is capable of delivering some of the most immersive VR experiences in its class, thanks to the upgraded chipset, powered by the Snapdragon XR2 Platform. Compared to the Pico Neo 2, which used the Snapdragon 845, the XR2 platform offers a whopping 2x more performance power, enabling comparisons with headsets such as the Oculus Quest 2. In addition, the Neo 3 features a 4K display with a resolution of 3664x1920, one of the highest in its category, and an improved refresh rate of 90Hz. The combination of high resolution and an enhanced refresh rate ensures a superior viewing experience compared to other headsets. The Neo 3 utilizes inside-out tracking with four built-in cameras, eliminating the need for external trackers or sensors, which reduces implementation costs.
The Pico Neo 3 runs on an open Android operating system, allowing for business customizations, such as deactivating buttons or limiting user rights. The headset is also designed with hygiene in mind, featuring a PU-leather cover that can easily be cleaned without causing damage. The Pico Neo 3 includes a three-level interpupillary distance setting, making it suitable for a wide range of users.
What is the difference between the Pico Neo 3 and Pico Neo 3 Pro?
The Pico Neo 3 and Neo 3 Pro are almost identical to each other. The only differences between these headsets are that the Pico Neo 3 comes with a soft headband and without DisplayPort streaming, while the Neo 3 Pro comes with a hard headband and with DP streaming.
