The Varjo XR-4 offers the highest available resolution in the current XR market, boasting an impressive 3840 x 3744 pixels and a density of 51 pixels per degree (PPD).
The Varjo XR-4 is equipped with advanced eye-tracking, allowing it to accurately follow eye movements, which significantly enhances the interactive experience.
With inside-out tracking, the Varjo XR-4 eliminates the need for external sensors in the space, ensuring a more streamlined and user-friendly XR experience.
Previous Varjo models (VR-3, XR-3) required a subscription to Varjo Base to use the headset. However, with the Varjo XR-4, this is no longer necessary. This headset can be used and purchased without a subscription.
The Varjo XR-4 requires a wired connection, meaning users are always physically connected to a PC via a cable. It is not possible to use the headset wirelessly.
For optimal performance of the Varjo XR-4, a powerful PC is required, preferably with an RTX 4070 video card or an even more powerful configuration.
Note: to sun damage prevent, it's essential to ensure that the lenses of the headset are not directly exposed to sunlight.
At this moment, the XR-4 can only be used for business purposes. You need to link your Varjo account to an organization to use the headset.
