The Varjo XR-4 offers the highest available resolution in the current XR market, with an impressive 3840 x 3744 pixels and a density of 51 pixels per degree (PPD).
The Varjo XR-4 is equipped with advanced eye-tracking, accurately following eye movements, significantly enhancing the interactive experience.
With inside-out tracking, the Varjo XR-4 eliminates the need for external sensors in the room, providing a more streamlined and user-friendly XR experience.
Earlier Varjo models (VR-3, XR-3) required a Varjo Base subscription to use the headset. However, with the Varjo XR-4, this is no longer necessary. This headset can be used and purchased without a subscription.
The Varjo XR-4 requires a wired connection, meaning users are always physically connected to a PC via a cable. It's not possible to use the headset wirelessly.
For optimal performance of the Varjo XR-4, a powerful PC is required, preferably with an RTX 4070 video card or an even more powerful configuration.
Please note: to sun damage prevent, it's essential to ensure that the headset's lenses are not directly exposed to sunlight.
At present, the XR-4 can only be used for business. You need to link your Varjo account to an organization to use the headset.
The Varjo XR-4 represents the latest evolution in high-quality VR/XR headsets from Varjo. This impressive headset is equipped with a stunning 4K x 4K display (3840 x 3744 with 51 PPD) and offers a wide field of view of 120 x 105 degrees. What sets the Varjo XR-4 apart from other headsets is its integrated XR functionality. At the front of the headset are passthrough cameras, allowing virtual images to seamlessly merge with the real world.
A standout feature of the Varjo XR-4 is the presence of an advanced 300 kpix LiDAR camera, combined with 200Hz eye-tracking. This combination allows for extremely accurate and smooth tracking of eye movements. Furthermore, the headset uses inside-out tracking, meaning that no external tracking sensors are needed in the environment. This contributes to user-friendliness and enables an effortless setup.
The Varjo XR-4 comes with 2 Varjo Controllers, allowing users full control over their virtual environment. The integrated DTS 3D spatial audio provides immersive sound, while the dual noise-cancelling microphones enable crystal-clear communication. All in all, the Varjo XR-4 offers an impressive mix of high-quality technologies and functionalities, making it a powerful choice for those aiming for an exceptional VR/XR experience.

Can I use my Varjo headset without an internet connection?
By default, a Varjo headset needs to connect to the internet every 48 hours to verify the user license. By purchasing an Offline license or the Secure Edition, this bi-daily check is no longer necessary and the device can be used offline indefinitely.
