The M4000 kit comes with the M4000 Smart Glasses, charging and viewing cable, safety glasses, USB-C power bank, extra waveguide, tinted lens accessory, headband attachment, quick start guide, and robust case. The M4000 comes with a one-year factory warranty (business).

The Vuzix M4000 glasses feature "Augmented Reality". This is a live, direct or indirect, image of reality that merges digital instructions with the Waveguide optics. These added elements often contain sensor data or additional information about the environment. Because the Waveguide is made transparent, there is minimal distraction for the vision.
